"Their sign says "best breakfast in town". 100% correct. Amazing food that has a true homemade taste. I haven't had my mom's cooking in years and it almost brought me to tears how similar it tasted. They use extra large eggs, food comes out piping hot and fresh. Lots of options for your sides, they do have grits! Plenty of entrees to choose from. Pitas, gyros, subs & clubs, breakfast, etc. Great prices, you get plenty of food for what you pay for and it's absolutely worth it. If you're able to, paying with cash helps them keep prices low. Atmosphere is amazing, it's so hard to find a comforting family diner experience. Nowadays everything is loud, cold and corporate. I felt transported to my childhood here. Now that we've discovered this gem my partner and I aren't going anywhere else for breakfast/brunch. Outstanding service, shoutout to our server Alena for being attentive and kind. Thank you Golden Egg staff for putting love into your food and work. Will be back for more cinnamon bread "

"Great mom and pop style dinner. Yummy food the southern omelet was great the sausage was flavorful without being spicy. Love the choice American fries, grit, or silver dollar pancakes. Our waitress was the best, but so was the rest of the team. The cook was fun and fast. Be prepared this place is so good they are busy but so worth it."

"This place is one of my absolute favorite breakfast spots! Every time I visit, the food is outstanding and cooked to perfection -- you can really taste the quality and care in every bite. I always order the country skillet; it's hearty, flavorful, and consistently delicious. Their French toast options are equally amazing -- some of the best I've had in the area! The whole team here is so friendly and welcoming, creating such a warm, local-diner vibe that makes every visit feel great. The service is fast and efficient even when the restaurant is busy, and the portions are generous without being overpriced. It's easy to see why locals and visitors alike rave about this place and keep coming back. Highly recommend for breakfast or brunch -- you won't be disappointed!"
